Donations made to Friends of Crater Lake further our efforts in the stewardship and preservation of Crater Lake National Park. Each year, the Friends support a variety of projects and initiatives. Thank you for your contribution!

The Friends of Crater Lake National Park is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit.  Donations may well be tax-deductible. Consult with your tax advisor. If you pay Oregon income tax your donation qualifies as a matching donation for Oregon Cultural Trust tax credits. Friends of Crater Lake National Park is one of Oregon’s 1,000 plus participating non-profit corporations recognized by the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Donate to the Greg Hartell Fund

The Greg Hartell Fund supports on-the-ground development of historic restoration skills and techniques as well as graduate level studies in historic restoration and maintenance at Crater Lake National Park.

The Hartell Internship Fund was established to honor Greg Hartell, a career carpenter who spent much of his working life restoring historic buildings. Greg’s love of Crater Lake and the care and skill he exhibited in restoring Crater Lake historic buildings inspired this fund. It supports both on-the-ground development of historic restoration skills and techniques as well as graduate level studies in historic restorations and maintenance at Crater Lake National Park.

Donations may well be tax-exempt.  Consult your accountant.
